Erhard Krumpholz
Position: Senior Advisory Board Member
Biography
Erhard Krumpholz, born in 1962, BSc in Physics (University of Stuttgart, Germany) and MSc in Applied Physics (Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology, Terre Haute, Indiana, USA) has been working as a Patent Attorney and Patent Angel for more than 20 years both in technology-focussed established corporations (Bühler Group, Zehnder Group) and with numerous SMEs. He has helped companies of any size reduce IP-related cost by building in-house IP skills as a contribution to core competence and more selective outsourcing to external IP firms.
Also, from the very beginning of his career, he has always had an affinity to startups in their earliest phase, often with skin in the game, typically helping them secure their ideas by filing patent applications prior to negotiating deals with investors and license agreements.
He is co-founder and co-investor of numerous earliest-phase projects and startups such as NovoGel Group.
He supports Arclif Group in all major projects, in particular with technology and IP related projects.
